“Like when was together…” Couldn’t they afford a cheap English backpacker to translate?
But by far the best song for the Euro! Fills all requirements! Great voice! Upbeat and definitely Euro!
And Daz Sampson! Puh…lease! I don’t think English-Mikey’s patriotism will help. A ‘geet’ with about 4 cheap rip-off versions of Britney Spears does not make for a great song.

I’ve only seen the Turkish, Slovenian and British vids and they all suck.

This song is in my opinion definately the best of them all, if you listen to all of the songs in this years ESC given you HAVE an ear for music you will hear that there are in fact only 2 singers that can carry a CLEAN tune and they are Sweden and Romania, so my vote goes to Romania by a long shot and as far as UK goes.. well they’re not gonna win that’s for sure

Good song. One of the “better” songs in this year’s EuroVision. I’m Romanian and I really want Romania to win this one — we CLEARLY deserve it.
On the downside, who came up the lyrics (and the translation)? “Like when was together in that dream that could’ve been so right” –> WTF? I mean c’mon gimme a break… a 2nd grader can tell there’s something wrong with that….

This is my absolute favorite song in ESC this year.

I LOVE THE SONG TORNERO and Mihai Traistariu’s voice!! Really great performance on stage. In my head Romania was the winner of the Eurovision song contest 2006. I’m from Norway but I still liked Tornero best. Great dancers!! They made a lot of energy on stage! I hope I will hear more of Mihai in the future.

The results of EUROVISION 2006 were utterly dissapointing!!!It’s a crying shame that Lordi won with this stupid song!I really wonder who voted for this!!!10yr old kids?Romania should have won!Overall, most songs were good this year, but “Tornero” was far the best song in the contest!!!Should have been #1!!!

Romania’s Tornero was a seriously fantastic song. Together with Turkey’s Superstar. I am shocked to see none of these 2 bagged the Eurovision 06 winner title. SHOCKED! Macedonia and Ukraine were good too. Hey! I’m not in Europe… hence my view are very objective based on each songs : ) – from KL, Malaysia.

Tornero was the best song of the 2006 eurovision song contest. I was in the Eurovision song contest and saw them performing live. All the people in the stadium were applauding during the song. That only happened for Tornero and for Everything. Radio stations and clubs play it all the time here in Cyprus. Well done to Mihai. Indeed Romania has send two great songs these past two years, Let Me Try and Tornero. Hope they send similar songs in the follwing years. Also well done to Annete from Cyprus Anna Vissi from Greece and Kate Ryan from Belgium. Three of the best performances in the contest.

I can see you don’t like our song very much. 
I’m not saying that Lordi´s members are beautiful, but I really like the song and I can assure you that it really has nothing to do with worshiping satan. 
Mr. Lordi said in one interview that they have the costumes because every little boy likes monsters and he hasn’t grown up yet. 
Anyway, after our own song I liked your song best! I’m listening to Tornero even as I write and it’s soooooo good!

It was really great lack of movement of the Mihai himself in the show. But of course, it’s absolutelly clear that a man who SINGS such a melody LIVE can not DANCE at the same time. He would be out of breath in 20 seconds.
But this should be evaluated somehow when the video-clip is gonna be re-arranged. (I’ve heard something about this). That one with snakes in a tunnel
is absolutelly boring and too static. “Tornero” is a dance hit! So let us see Mihai dancing!

Ok, but Finland won, got some show, i guess. Uhm, sounds good, but not my favorite. I’m from the Netherlands: Treble. Sounds so bad!! Awful. But Finland en Lithuania did good work. Funny lyrics, those from Lithuania.

Brilliant – I listen to it all the time in the car. Now I can sing along with the chorus too! It should have won.
I may be in the UK, but the UK entry was RUBBISH (unless you’re 14)(no…even my 14-year-old thought it was awful).

I have been sure by the end of the week that it ‘d take the 2nd place,’cause I thought Greece ‘d win again!It doesn’t matter though;such things are usual in the history of the Contest!I hope next year Romania ‘ll win ‘case this year it deserved it.I come from greece,so I couldn’t vote us ang consequently I voted Romania!!!The Contest was super-the best ever-good luck to all the countries next year!!!I hope sometime we as a country will have the chance to organise Eurovision again!!!

I JUST LOVE IT!! I got addicted straight away when I first heard it just before the ESC and it was my second most favourite. (hey, I’m Greek, ‘Everything’ was my number one!) But even now, these many days after the contest, they often play ‘Tornero’ in many many greek radio stations. and I always turn the volume up! It just makes my day!
