Duster – Dacia’s first concept crossover – is proud to be different. Seen from the driver’s side, it is visibly a sporting coupé, yet passengers entering from the other side will see it as an MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) with a traditionally opening front door and rear-hinged rear door which suggest plush travelling refinement.

FIA GT Championship and more: Bucharest Ring

In 2007 one of the FIA GT Championship stages is scheduled to take place in Bucharest. The Bucharest Ring street circuit is placed exactly in the heart of the Romanian capital, around the Parliament House.
The track in the street where the FIA GT, the European FIA GT3 Championship, the GB Formula 3 and the Logan Cup races will take place counts 3180 metres length, the average speed will be 148,6 km/h for the competitors from FIA GT Championship, the time per lap around 1 minute and 15 seconds. The top speed for the FIA GT Championship competitors is 230 km/h.
The location is perfect for organizing a street race, similar to the one in Monte Carlo, which can become a refference point in the international automobilistic calendars. (more…)
Next Logan car to be launched in Brazil

The fourth model of Dacia-Renault’s Logan will be launched at the end of 2007 in Brazil. Even though many expected the new model to be launched on the European market, Luc-Alexandre Menard, Renault’s executive manager, confirmed that the target will be South America. (more…)

Fiat challenges Dacia Logan with 5000 Euro car

Plans by Fiat to counterballance the supremacy of Renault with Dacia Logan on the cheap car market in Europe are gaining pace as Italian newspaper Il Giornale has revealed the Italian company prepares a 5,000 euro model to be launched by the end of 2006.

Over 190,000 Dacia Logans sold

Over 190,000 Dacia Logan cars have been sold since the model was launched in September 2004. 106 Logan cars were sold last year alone, according to car maker Automobile Dacia, a division of French car manufacturer, Renault. (more…)
