Topic: Sport (Sep 6, 2006)
Romanian football team Steaua Bucharest learned August 24 that it would face Real Madrid, Olympique Lyon and Dinamo Kiev in the E Group of the Champions League after beating Standard Liege in the preliminaries.
Steaua managed to defeat Standard Liege 2-1 despite three key players were missing at the game. The two goals were scored by Valentin Badea.

Another 10 years ago, in 1986, Steaua Bucharest won the Champions Cup semifinal against Anderlecht Bruxelles (yes, another team from Belgium!). They also won the 1986 Champions Cup in a match against Real Madrid.
