Mihai Traistariu Finishes His Promotion Tour for “Tornero” in Cyprus

Mihai Traistariu, the Romanian representative for 2006 Eurovision Contest arrived in Cyprus on May 5th, and he will stay there for three days, while he is invited to many radio and television programmes. At the same time, the Romanian Embassy in Cyprus organizes a special event on this occasion.
“Unfortunately, we can no longer go to other countries because we have to concentrate on the preparatiions for our departure to Greece, as we are getting closer to the date of the big event”, says Mihai. Similarly to the other countries where he went to promote his song “Tornero“, Mihai is accompanied by a TVR (Romanian Television) team and he is continuing his work as a reporter for TVR.
The promotion tour for Eurovision 2006 has been organized by the Romanian Television. The tour started in March, with a visit in Greece, it continued in Slovenia, Malta and Belgium, and it finishes in Cyprus.

I love this song! I was really shocked when I saw it wasn’t one of the best three!!
I really likes the text of the song and the harmony in it…the only thing is that I still can’t find to download it

I thought it was going to win… I was very (VERY) disappointed when it didn’t and of course I was suprised!! But I liked the other songs as well (you know on the places 1-3) but just not as much as this song… /Akka from Sweden

I haven’t stopped listening to “Tornero” ever since the Eurovision. Mihai’s voice simply thrills me. I hope he makes it into the English charts because his music is so much better than all the rubbish over here!!

I love “Tornero”. I wish Mihai Traistariu would have won. He has an amazing voice and his performance live on the Eurovision was excellent. It was the best song in this year’s contest..plus the best voice. Mihai you’re the best!!
