Las Ketchup – Un Blody Mary

Un “Blody Mary†por favor …
Las Ketchup will be mixing a ‘Blody Mary’ at the Eurovision Song Contest Final
Like the spicy, energising cocktail, the song ‘Un Blody Mary’ is a sensual, explosive mix that’s perfectly suited to the four sisters of Las Ketchup, who – in their previous incarnation as a trio – had a hit across Europe with ‘Aserejé’.
Spanish Television has selected Las Ketchup to represent the Iberian country in the Final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 20 May 2006. The girls will perform a song called ‘Blody Mary’ which is written by Queco, the man behind ‘Aserejé’.
Hailing from Córdoba, Las Ketchup are the four daughters of El Tomate, the Flamenco guitarist.
Their first CD was called ‘Las Hijas del Tomate’ (‘The Daughters of Tomate’), just a week after its release, their first single ‘Aserejé’ went to number one in Spain. ‘Aserejé’ became a huge summer hit and quickly achieved double platinum status.
