Duster – Dacia’s first concept crossover – is proud to be different. Seen from the driver’s side, it is visibly a sporting coupé, yet passengers entering from the other side will see it as an MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) with a traditionally opening front door and rear-hinged rear door which suggest plush travelling refinement.

Dacia Sandero The launch of Dacia Sandero means that 2008 will stand out as a strategic watershed in terms of the brand’s development.

FIA GT Championship and more: Bucharest Ring

In 2007 one of the FIA GT Championship stages is scheduled to take place in Bucharest. The Bucharest Ring street circuit is placed exactly in the heart of the Romanian capital, around the Parliament House.

The track in the street where the FIA GT, the European FIA GT3 Championship, the GB Formula 3 and the Logan Cup races will take place counts 3180 metres length, the average speed will be 148,6 km/h for the competitors from FIA GT Championship, the time per lap around 1 minute and 15 seconds. The top speed for the FIA GT Championship competitors is 230 km/h.

The location is perfect for organizing a street race, similar to the one in Monte Carlo, which can become a refference point in the international automobilistic calendars. (more…)

Next Logan car to be launched in Brazil

The fourth model of Dacia-Renault’s Logan will be launched at the end of 2007 in Brazil. Even though many expected the new model to be launched on the European market, Luc-Alexandre Menard, Renault’s executive manager, confirmed that the target will be South America. (more…)

Todomondo – ‘Liubi, liubi, i love you’ lyrics

‘Liubi, liubi, i love you’ Lyrics. This song will represent Romania at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest from Helsinki (Finland). The band recently changed the name ‘Locomondo’ with Todomondo due to a request from a ‘Locomondo’ named band from Greece.
Ciro de Luca: “Todomondo reflects our wish to make our song well-known in the whole world. It´s a song that we hope everyone will sing in Helsinki and we want to convince people to vote for it”. (more…)

Communism science-fiction: Moldavians, a ethnic minority in Romania

Some time ago, three people established what they called “the Community of Moldovans in Romania”. This weekend, their organization was brought to light by no other than Vladimir Voronin, the President of the Moldovan Republic, who in an interview for a press agency demanded rights for the “Moldovan minority” in Romania, which he claims numbers some 10 million people.

Locomondo – ‘Liubi, Liubi, I Love You’ will represent Romania at ESC 2007!

Locomondo will represent Romania in the Final of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest on 12th May with the song Liubi, Liubi, I Love You.
In the final, there were eight entries, from the nine remained in contest, as the bands Morandi and Wassabi, previously qualified with the song “Crazy”, were not present in competition. (more…)
